Yes... They Really Do Fly Home!

Once the birds have been released, they begin their flight back home to their spacious loft where they have food and water waiting. The birds are in no way harmed - in fact, they are capable of flying & returning home safely from Ceremonies up to 100 miles away.
Under certain rare weather conditions a release may be cancelled for the safety of the birds. White doves have difficulty flying in heavy rain, fog, extreme wind or the dark. It affects their homing ability and puts them at risk of getting lost or hurt. We care too much for our birds to let that happen. A release must also take place with enough time for the birds to get home, which is usually just before sunset.
White doves are a very beautiful addition to your special day - if done professionally.

When you hire a dove company make sure of the following…
  • The doves will NOT be harmed, as they fly home to where they are born and raised, our lofts! Releasing doves in a way that gets an awesome effect is an art. Your release coordinators will be well experienced and have a thorough knowledge of the Valley and it's ceremony locations. We specialize in dove releases, and we know birds. Be cautious of amatuers who have a multitude of related businesses and use dove releases as an "add on" to other services they provide.
