When you hire a dove company make sure of the following…
Yes... They Really Do Fly Home!
Once the birds have been released, they typically circle the area several times allowing their viewers to admire their beauty.
Then they begin their flight back
home to their spacious loft where they love to lounge
around after a ceremony. The birds are in no way harmed - in fact, they are capable of flying & returning home
safely from Ceremonies up to 100 miles away.Under certain rare weather conditions a release may be cancelled for the safety of the birds. White doves have difficulty flying in heavy rain, fog, extreme wind or the dark. It affects their homing ability and puts them at risk of getting lost or hurt. We care too much for our birds to let that happen. A release must also take place with enough time for the birds to get home, which is usually just before sunset.
White wedding doves are a very beautiful, special addition to your wedding day - if done professionally. The “oohs and aahhs” of the guests will say it all.
